In comparison with its predecessor, the 81 K has a perceptibly improved load capacity curve, with more than 25% greater load capacity at the jib head. Its refined operational performance is reflected in the easy operation and assembly, as well as in its excellent adaptability.

All the drive units of the 81 K are steplessly controlled by means of frequency converter technology. The control lever deflection always matches the maximum possible speed, and that means extremely fine sensitivity travelling with the load is guaranteed, every time. The MICROMOVE fine-positioning mode can be engaged at the push of a button, and reduces the hoisting speed to 25%. This means that even heavy loads can be positioned with absolute reliability, without the hoist gear brake engaging.

One entirely new feature of the 81 K, a first in its class, is the SPEED 2 LIFT system, a pure 2-fall operational format. Because every load taken up is handled in 2-fall operation, time-consuming re-reeving is a thing of the past. And that ensures economical working, with optimum range of load capacity and speed.

The 81 K can be operated at the maximum possible speed, lift the maximum possible load, or achieve high empty hook speeds as well.
